About

Hallo! Guten Tag!

My name is Lena. I once spent the fastest 18 months of my life talking to people about God in Germany. If this were a dating profile, my interests would include long walks on the beach, pancakes for dinner, freebies, and people watching at the airport. I love to film happy people & write about interesting people.

Curious who took this lovely photo? Check out Becca Marie!

Stay a while won’t you?

Love Lady Lena

  • Love your blog and posts. 🙂 And goodluck for your upcoming adventure. I envy you, cause when I was a kid, I also dreamed of being on a mission, however I can’t cause I don’t belong in that religion. Well, at any religion. Most of my relatives are also mormons they had been in the religion for almost all their lives. And I heard so many stories about their missions. But as what I had said I can’t cause I’m a catholic, in my birth certificate. But I don’t know. I don’t really follow the tradition of the religion. I’m just living my own life and fate and believing what I believe. When I was 8 I wanted to convert to being a mormon after I went to the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. But my mom told me not. Now I am 19, I don’t know where to start. I’ve always wanted to atleast have a well stable religion cause some of my friends have theirs, not catholic, a different one, and I envy them cause they are having fun, they are loving it and praising. And I know catholicism is not for me. It just doesnt feel right. My boyfriend told me that I’m a pagan. But I don’t know. Anyways sorry for the long comment. 😀

  • Hi Lena,
Thank you so much for responding and sharing the link, I will use that once I get back to my country. And yes, as of now I am having a hard time finding my purpose here on earth. I think I am surviving day by day without any reason at all. Sometimes, I wonder why Im still here, there are others who want to have more life span here on earth, but I am still here, living. It doesn’t mean I wanna die, however, I feel like I’m a useless person just wasting time. I’m doing nothing but use the resources. Anyway, I am glad that you really took your time to communicate to me, it really helps me, a lot. It gave mo more motivation to live and encouraged me to seek more deep inside myself. I love God and I praise Him, He is my lord and my salvation and I really want Him to live in my life, so I will try to do my best. Thank you Lena and may God bless you all the time. Good luck on your mission! 🙂

    • Dear Rain,
I’m pretty sure they have missionaries in Singapore and Malaysia if you don’t want to wait. Or you can always talk to the missionaries online until you come home. 🙂 I assure you that you are not a useless person just wasting time. The purpose of this life is to be tried and tested and sometimes that includes testing our beliefs. Sometimes that can be difficult but God has said “Look unto me, and endure to the end, and ye shall live; for unto him that endureth to the end will I give eternal life.” (3 Nephi 15:9.) You may not be able to see the impact you are making on someone else’s life, but everything you do is important, not useless. Just as you love God, he loves you. You are his child, he cares deeply about you. You are a daughter of God, just remember that as you continue your search. Thanks for wishing me luck on my mission. If you ever have any questions or anything, just email me!
      Love,
      Lena
