Letter Forty-One from the Lovely Lena

Does anyone know the Elvis song Return To Sender? Go listen to it right now because I’m going to reference it. (why do all my blog posts start with songs?!) Anyways, the German Postoffice is very interesting, as in they return everything I try to send! Envelope is too orange. Envelope too large. Envelope too small. I am not kidding you, these are all excuses I have heard from the German Postoffice of why my letters must be returned to sender. Tsk tsk tsk.

Well that was my venting for the day, let’s get to the good stuff. Once upon a time there was a little sister missionary who hadn’t seen her grandparents in 3 years. One day, they decided to come to the Temple where she was able to reunite with them for a few short but sweet moments.  It was an absolute fairytale!! I got to see my grandparents who are serving a mission in the Czech Republic despite all odds. They told me that they plan on doing missions for the next 10 years, so who knows when I will see them again. It was so neat to be reunited with them inside the Temple. It felt like a taste of heaven and I thought about how beautiful it will be to be reunited with our Heavenly Father. My grandma was so proud of me and practically introduced me to everyone in the Temple. That again made me think of my heavenly homecoming. I want God to be proud of me and what I accomplished on Earth. I am in no way perfect, but I do my best and the Lord does the rest.
This week I tried really hard to do my best, but I kept coming up short. We met with lots of wonderful people and were fed lots of wonderful things, yet I still felt insignificant. Or insufficient. What word would be right in that case? Haha, oh gosh I am slowly loosing any english skills I ever had. This is going to be ruff…..rough.
Sadly, I am out of time but I hope that everyone has a very productive week. My dear friend Hailey and I think March is one of the loooongest dragged on months of the year. My goal is to make March fly by. Don’t forget to celebrate Pi Day this coming week! I love you i love you i loooooooove you. (another elf quote because why not?!)
